LESSEON PLAN

Time                                    : 20 minutes
Learning Objectives:
·         Students are expected to be able to know kinds of Public Notice
·         Students are expected to be able to know the meaning of notification
·         Students are expected to be able to identify where the notifications are put
·         Students are expected to be able to identify the places of notification by listening to audiotape.
Pre-listening activity (3 minutes)
·         The teacher greets students. “Assalamualaikum wr. wb, good morning class how are you today?
·         The teacher brainstorms the students by asking what they know about public notice. “Well, today we are going to study about Public Notices. Does anybody know what public means? Does anybody knows what notices means? So public notice means...”
·         The teacher tells students about the lesson that will be learned today. “OK class, today we are going to learn about Public Notices.

Main-listening activity
Session 1 (5 minutes)
·      The teacher sticks a public notification on the board. “Alright class, what do you think about this notification and where could you find it?
·      The teacher asks students to discuss the public notice on the board. “Try to discuss the notification, what it means and where you see it”
·      The teacher asks students to answer the questions. “Well, let’s answer it. What the meaning of sign is? Where the sign is put?
·      The teacher delivers pictures to students and asks them to listen carefully about the text. “Well, today we are going to do the activity, it is the information transfer: multiple picture-cued selections, listen carefully when I read the text”. 
·      The teacher elicits the answer about the notification.
Session 2 (5 minutes)
·         The teacher divides students in pairs based on their seat-mate. “Well, sit in pairs, make a space for each group”
·      The teacher tells the students the next activity. “ Well, for the next activity we are going to listen the conversation which is related to the topic today”
·      The teacher turns on the audiotape and asks the students to listen carefully. “Well, let me listen to you about the conversation, please listen carefully”
·      The teacher delivers worksheet and asks the students to complete the task by listening to the audiotape. OK class, I will give you these papers, today we are going to do the activity it is the information transfer: choosing the picture. Choose the correct picture for each listening session and answer where the people are they?”
·      The teacher turns again the audiotape to do next activity. “Well, the next activity we are going to do the next activity, it is dialogue and multiple-choice comprehension items.
·      The teacher delivers the test of multiple-choice items and asks students to answer the whole numbers.

Session 3 ( 5 minutes)
·      The teacher gives other notifications and asks students to answer where they often find the signs. “OK class, there are other pictures for you, look at the signs, and think of the places you often find them”
·      The teacher prepares the answer on the board.
·      The teacher and students answer the signs together and asking students to match the signs and their meanings.
·      In the end of activity, the teacher asks students to listen the conversations, and asks them to do the activity: recognizing the morphological and phonological elements. “Well class, please listen carefully and find out the assimilation in the conversation”
Conclusion (2 minutes)
·         The teacher asks students to mention the name of the signs
·         The teacher points some students to answer where the notifications are usually can be seen.
·         The teacher asks students about the lesson today. “Well students, are you happy in our study today?”
·         The teacher ends the activity. “ OK class, bye-bye”
